I offer professional translations from English, German, and the Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish
and Norwegian) into Czech.

I have over 25 years of translation experience and draw heavily on my experience as an editor
in the publishing industry.

I translate both literary and specialized texts. While I specialize mainly in literary translation,
I also translate texts in the fields of psychology, sociology, education and pedagogy, gastronomy, and human resources. That said, I have experience with the translation of texts in a number of fields –
please send me a sample of the text you wish to have translated. I am sure we can figure something out.

I set the rates and deadlines together with the client at the beginning of the project.
The number of words I am able to translate per day depends on the difficulty of the text.

 

I offer proofreading and editing services in the Czech language, drawing on years of experience
as a publishing editor. I will proofread the provided text in MS Word using the ‘Track Changes’ feature
and return a print-ready text.

I also offer preprint proofreading in Adobe Acrobat Professional and final eye services.

 

I provide DTP services for flyers, brochures and books.
